Section titled “How serious are we?”In-game we use military procedures and tactics (see the rest of the handbook) to make the experience smoother and more enjoyable for people who like playing Arma with teamwork and good communication. We play in first-person only, for better balance. There is no “Yes sir, no sir”, but everyone is expected to follow their leader’s orders.
Who do we play as?
Section titled “Who do we play as?”It depends on the mission. Our loadouts cover three settings:
- Modern - present-day forces, from special operations (Rangers, MARSOC, DEVGRU, Green Berets and allied SF) down to conventional army and marines.
- Retro - the 1980s to 2000s, including Delta Force and US Army and Marine units of the period.
- SOG - the Vietnam War (MACV-SOG, Navy SEALs and LRRPs).
We usually play Western and allied forces, and the exact faction is picked per mission.
When and how do we play together?
Section titled “When and how do we play together?”We run one operation a week, on Saturday at 20:00 CET/CEST. We also organise impromptu ops and training through our Discord. Most missions are a single session; some run to two or three parts, and the occasional campaign runs across several sessions, where the outcome of one carries into the next (fail to gather intel, for example, and the enemy may have support you don’t know about).
Do we use fixed squads?
Section titled “Do we use fixed squads?”No. Here is how we slot up:
- Lead roles are taken by volunteers.
- Leaders select their 2IC (second-in-command).
- Medic roles are taken by volunteers.
- Remaining members are slotted into each squad.
What aspects of ACE Medical do we use?
Section titled “What aspects of ACE Medical do we use?”Basic medical with a few tweaks: basic bandages, morphine, epinephrine and blood IVs.
Recruitment

Is there an age limit?
Section titled “Is there an age limit?”Yes, you must be 18 or over. We also expect members to know when the situation calls for maturity.
Are we looking for pilots or armour crew?
Section titled “Are we looking for pilots or armour crew?”We use armour and aircraft, but we’re not looking for dedicated pilots or crew. We’re mainly infantry, and we don’t field these in every op.
I’m completely new to Arma, is that okay?
Section titled “I’m completely new to Arma, is that okay?”Absolutely. We accept and have members of all skill levels, and our mentoring programme will make sure you know what to do in our ops. You’ll also be paired with a more experienced member for your first op, to guide you along and watch your back.
How will my role be decided?
Section titled “How will my role be decided?”We don’t use predetermined roles. They’re decided by what the mission calls for, and assigned by your squad leader. In one mission you could be an MAT operator, and a combat medic in the next.
